Meet our Senior Management:
The role of our Senior Management, subject to the direction and
limitations imposed by the Board of Directors, is to manage the
day-to-day affairs of a multiple branch Company.
The principal Senior Management positions are located at the Head
Office.

Catherine Ellis, Logistics Manager
Cathy Ellis holds accreditation in Ontario Management Development
and has over 30 years experience in 3PL Logistics, Inventory
Control, Customer Service and Human Resources.
She spent 13 years specializing in Custom Brokerage and Integrated
Logistic Services with Livingston International, a leading North
American Logistics provider. Cathy then moved to Hamilton Terminals,
where her 19 years also included Warehouse Logistics in a 360,000 sq
ft facility. She is adept in Accellos, Oracle and SAP systems, and
brought her considerable negotiating skills to bear in handling
Human Resources, A/R and Customer Service. Her responsibilities were
expanded to include oversight and administration of monthly budgets,
physical plant maintenance and sales reports.
Cathy's Continuing Education curriculum has included earning credits
in Supervision Administration, Leadership, Production,
Communications and HR.
Cathy demonstrates a high degree of professionalism in her ability
to focus cross-functionally, working collaboratively with employees,
shippers and clients. Her goal is to achieve continuing improvement
to service levels and customer satisfaction.
Jamal Instrum, B.Sc., Business Development Manager
Jamal comes to GreenSafe with varied business experiences in the medical and pharmaceutical industries scoping the globe. Along with his duties for GreenSafe, he is currently developing a business to supply advanced diagnostic imaging services and research opportunities to private and public users in Canada.
For over 15 years, Jamal was Director of Operations for a Saudi Arabian Medical products and services company. His territory was the Middle East and North Africa and he was responsible for government relations, regulatory affairs and business development. Jamal’s other business and work experiences allowed him to acquire a vast network of individual and corporate contacts that will aid GreenSafe in the development of our plans.
His role with GreenSafe has been to promote the business at both the Provincial and Federal levels and to develop strategies to inform regulatory agencies of the benefits of adopting the GreenSafe approach to conscientious handling of end of life goods.
Jamal attended Dalhousie University, Halifax Nova Scotia, in pursuit of a Marine Biology Degree. He holds a variety of certifications in the medical and pharmaceutical fields and has been appointed to a number of committees and boards of advisory while working in the Middle East.
Jocelyn Larocque, B.Sc. Mech. Eng., P. Eng.,
Jocelyn is a
professional mechanical engineer with over twenty years of
experience in management and engineering at various levels. This
includes business management, development of large scale
projects, conception of plant equipments, supervision, project
management, engineering and industrial applications development,
quality control programs and preventative maintenance. He has
acquired, throughout the years, a vast experience in many
sectors of various industries and followed a much diversified
continuing education program in many engineering and
non-engineering fields. His other skills include human
resources, management, Health & Safety programs. He is currently
involved in professional, regional, municipal and community
organizations at various levels.
Jocelyn spent thirteen years with paperboard producers
Smurfit-Stone, after which he became a consultant for pressure
vessel design, offered R&D services to educational clients as a
design engineer, and is involved in all aspects of Atelier PMC
as a partner, a major supplier of custom fabricated metal
products to the mining and fishing industries.
Jocelyn also was
a municipal councilor and deputy mayor for a total of sixteen
years in his home town and is considered as a leader in his
community by many peers. As municipal councilor, his
responsibilities included economic development, municipal
reform, public works and transportation.
Jocelyn has become a well rounded and experienced individual
with a great sense of leadership, vision and entrepreneurship.
He possesses strong analytical capabilities for many complex
situations, but yet in a very efficient manner.
